at 4pm for the post-season party
Schedule of Events:
Noon-1pm Interactive games with kids from the league and our charity organizations @ VA Highlands
- Includes waffle ball, tee ball, bean bag toss, and possible face-painting
1-2:30pm All-Star Game @ VA Highlands
2:30-4pm HR Derby @ VA Highlands
4pm-??? Post-Season Party at CCSP, 2nd floor -- open bar until $700 bar tab runs out
5pm Trophy presentation to 2008 (and 2007) Champions, Spirit Award and Service Award Winners
5:15pm Charity Check Presentation to Jubilee, DC CFSA, and FSSNV
5:30pm End-of-season 50/50 Raffle Drawing (pot is approximately $1200)

We hope to see ALL of you and your teammates out at VA Highlands this Saturday to interact with the charities and cheer on our league All-Stars and HR Derby participants. Please spread the word to your teams, and encourage attendance. We also need more volunteers to help us with the activities we have planned.
Of course, we also want to see EVERYONE back at CCSP later that day for the post-season party and trophy/check presentations.
REMINDER – we are encouraging all teams to gather up used softball/baseball equipment to be donated to FCA this Saturday. Balls, bats, gloves, bases, etc… anything goes! Used, tattered, beat up… they will take it all. FCA makes mission trips to teach sports to children in 3rd world countries to underprivileged kids. They will make good use of it ALL. So, clean out those trunks and garages and find a good home for your gear, rather than just throwing it away!
